James Hood competed in his first WBMC in 2007 when he took second place in the Garibaldi division. James is 26 years old and studies liguistics at King's College in London. In addition to being a beardsman, he is a cartoonist (see below) and comedy writer. The British Cartoon Association recently named him young cartoonist of the year.

He hates Freddie Starr.
